Eastern Railway observes Vigilance Awareness Week

Kolkata: Sanjiv Agarwal, Senior deputy General Manager, Eastern Railway administered the integrity pledge on Monday morning on the occasion of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week — October 29 to November 3 — at Eastern Railways' Headquarters, Fairley Place.

The main objective of the integrity pledge is that the railway men to perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner and to act in public interest and set themselves as an example by exhibiting integrity in personal behavior and all should work together to eradicate corruption.

Principal heads of departments & staff of Eastern Railway were present at Eastern Railway's Headquarters, Fairley Place on this occasion.

The occasion was followed by a colourful cultural programme by ERs Headquarter cultural team. Apart from these as a part of observance of vigilance awareness week – 2018, there will be a seminar on October 31, where eminent speakers will participate. The seminar will be followed by an interactive session.
