CID summons Ritabrata again

Kolkata: The state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Saturday sent summons for the second time to expelled CPI(M) leader Ritabrata Banerjee directing him to appear for interrogation at their headquarters in Bhavani Bhavan on Tuesday. He has been asked to depose in connection with the allegations raised against him of sexually assaulting a woman on the pretext of marriage. Banerjee did not turn up for interrogation on Friday in spite of the CID summons. CID sources said that Banerjee did not appear apprehending arrest. MPOST
