Charge sheet filed against actor Bikram Chatterjee

Kolkata police on Wednesday filed a charge sheet against actor Bikram Chatterjee in connection with the car crash that led to the death of his model friend Sonika Singh Chauhan.

Around 81 days after the accident, Tollygunge police have submitted the charge sheet. As per the charge sheet police have booked the actor under section 304 for negligence, culpable homicide not amounting to murder. The charge sheet also mentions the forensic report and the circumstantial evidence that the police had collected in the course of the investigation.

It has also been learnt that charge sheet also mentions how the accident took place on April 29 after the actor had flouted the traffic norms on Rash Behari Avenue.
