Body of 35-year-old found in bush near house, family suspects murder

Kolkata: Mystery shrouds the death of a 35-year-old youth whose body was recovered from bush in Matia area of North 24-Parganas.

The family members of the victim have alleged that he had been murdered after he protested against the extra marital relationship of his wife.

The victim has been identified as Md Ali and his body was spotted by the locals inside bush, situated at a distance of 120 meter from his house.

The victim got married to one Farida Bibi around 10 years ago. It has been alleged that his wife is involved in an extra-marital relationship with a local youth since the past few months.

Ali came to know about the incident from th locals. He protested against the incident and told his wife to discontinue the illicit relationship.

It was alleged that the woman continued the relationship with the youth despite her husband's plea.

This often led to heated altercations between the two. Following one of such arguments, the woman left her husband a few days ago.

But the family members never expected that this could lead to his death.

The family members of the victim alleged that his wife and her boyfriend were involved in the murder of Ali.

There were several injury marks on his body. Police have sent the body for an autopsy.

A specific case has been lodged on the basis of which police have started a probe.
