Beauty parlour gang-rape: Sleuths may visit other states to track down owner

Kolkata: Police may send a team to other states to nab the owner of the beauty parlour on Kyd Street, where a woman was allegedly gang-raped a few days ago.

Sources informed that the tower location of the owner showed somewhere outside Bengal, which has not

been revealed. Sources also informed that the premises was hired by the owner of the parlour. Apart from the owner, another person who was allegedly connected with the gang rape has also managed to hide.

On Saturday, police interrogated the trio arrested and were able to gather some clues.

The sleuths were also able to get the owner's mobile number and initiate tracking process to identify his location.

On Friday night, a woman lodged a complaint of gang rape against five persons inside a parlour promising her a job at the parlour.

She also stated that whole incident was filmed and it was used to blackmail her. She was threatened with dire consequences if she had gone to the police. Late on Friday night, police raided Park Street area and arrested three persons including Rina. The other two have been identified as Manoar Ali and Mohammad.
