Allegations of paper leak surface again on 3rd day of Madhyamik

Kolkata: The third day of Madhyamik examination passed peacefully on Friday, even as allegations of the question paper being circulated on WhatsApp were repeated again. It was found that the question papers of History had been doing rounds on social media, an hour after the commencement of the examination.

State Education minister Partha Chatterjee, however, denied the incident. "I have constantly been in touch with the District Magistrates and the Police Superintendents and they had informed me that everything was in place," Chatterjee said.

This is the third day in a row when question papers of Madhyamik have been found circulating on WhatsApp. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, which is responsible for conducting the examination, has already lodged a complaint with Bidhannagar Cyber Crime Police station, urging a probe in this regard.
