Ace lensman Nemai Ghosh breathes his last

Kolkata: Veteran photo journalist Nemai Ghosh breathed his last at SSKM Hospital on Wednesday morning.

He was 84-years-old and was suffering from old-age related ailments.

Ghosh came in touch with Satyajit Ray when he was shooting Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne in 1968. Ghosh captured various moods of Ray during the shoot, while writing the scripts of his films, or sitting on his piano to prepare the musical scores.

Ghosh's last exhibition in Kolkata was held in May, in connection with Ray's 97th birth anniversary.
