ACB arrests night guard for taking bribe

Kolkata: The state Anti-Corruption Branch on Thursday arrested one night guard of the state government, on charges of taking Rs 50,000 after assuring help to get no-objection certificate from Urban Land Ceiling authorities.
He had allegedly demanded Rs 7 lakh as bribe to facilitate the same. He has been booked under Prevention of Corruption Act and will be produced before the Additional
District and Sessions Judge on Friday.
