A small bit of Rajasthan comes calling to Kolkata

Kolkata: A small bit of Rajasthan, which comes calling to Kolkata as 'Purva Kolkata Gangaur Mahotsav' was organised by the 'Purva Kolkata Maheshwari Samaj'.
The three-day celebrations ended yesterday at Phulbagan Big Park in East Kolkata.
The socio-cultural programme is supported by members of the Kankurgachi Loko Sanskriti.
'Purva Kolkata Maheshwari Samaj' officials who made the festival possible include president Suresh Jhawar, secretary Sri Manmohan Bagri and convener and vice-president Hemant Marda.
Sashi Kothari wrote lyrics of devotional songs dedicated to 'Gangaur Mata'. The troupe members performed devotional songs.
The festival has taken a unique look due to its sprawling stage, where various cultural programmes were held.
