2 killed in Ichapur factory

A fact finding committee has been set up to probe in the death of two persons at Ichapur Metal and Steel Plant on March 14. Phalguni Banerjee (37) and Bablu Majumdar (50) were killed and seven others were injured when a 20-tonne furnace exploded in the factory. Leakage of water is likely to have caused the blast in the 20-tonne electric arc furnace.
