1 held on charges of molesting woman during interview

Bidhannagar Police have arrested an employee of a private company from Baguiati in North 24 Parganas on charges of molesting a girl who had visited the office of the accused for an interview.
The victim, a resident of Agarpara in North 24 Parganas, told the police that she walked in for an interview at an office at Kestopur area under Baguiati police station on Tuesday. She was asked to enter into a room where the accused Aurobinda Kumar started taking her interview.
It has been alleged that Kumar had given her an indecent proposal during the interview. The girl then came out of the interview room and went straight to Baguiati police station to lodge a complaint against the accused. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, police have arrested the accused from his residence at Teghoria area during late on Tuesday night. In the interrogation, the accused reportedly admitted to his guilt. According to the preliminary investigation, the police suspect that the accused might have committed such incidents in the past as well.
