Kiran Walia inaugurates multiple school projects

Kiran Walia, minister of education, social welfare, women and child development on Wednesday inaugurated a newly constructed building with gymnasium and renovated swimming pool at Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School at Bhola Nath Nagar, Shahdara.
She also laid the foundation stone of 40 SPS rooms with toilet blocks in Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Old Seemapuri in trans Yamuna area. She said that government will spend Rs 5 crores on the construction of the rooms and toilet blocks in this school.
Besides this, Walia also inaugurated newly-constructed rooms with two toilet blocks in Government Senior Secondary School, Vivek Vihar, Phase-II and 22 newly constructed rooms with four toilet blocks in Govt. Boys Sr. Sec. School, Vivek Vihar, Phase-I.
Member of Parliament from east Delhi Sandeep Dikshit was the chief guest, while chairman, Trans-Yamuna Development Board and area MLA Narender Nath presided over the function.
