Kins protest against police brutality, AAP joins them

In yet another case, the horrifying face of Delhi Police came to light when locals of RK Puram staged a protest on Tuesday outside the police station for allegedly brutally beating up four persons who were randomly picked up by the policemen for their alleged involvement in the fight between two groups on Sunday night.
Delhi police, on Tuesday sent the accused policemen including one assistant sub-inspector and two constables to Police Lines. The demonstration by around 100 people turned violent when they started pelting stones at the police station demanding justice.
According to the victims’ kins, on Sunday a fight between two groups took place in Ekta Vihar area.
When the police reached the crime spot, all managed to flee but the police later picked them up. The four who were detained have been identified as Pradeep, Saleem, Toni and Rajan.
Family members claimed that neither of them belonged to the groups between whom the scuffle broke out. The family members of the arrested were shocked after witnessing severe bruises on their body.
On Tuesday, they all decided to gather outside the police station demanding serious action against the accused policemen. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supporters also joined the demonstration.
