Kin alleges foul play in patient’s death at NBMCH

Tension gripped North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) after a 30-year-old woman died after falling from a wheelchair while being shifted from one ward to another, on Saturday morning.
The NBMCH authorities have formed a 5-member committee to probe the death of the woman. The committee will submit a report to the medical superintendent of the hospital within next Tuesday.
The victim’s family members have alleged foul play behind the death of the patient.
