Khattar launches grievance redressal system in Ggn

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal launched online services for Grievance Redressal System and Dispute Settlement Mechanism at Gurgaon on Wednesday.

He said that in order to attract new investments in the state, Single Window Clearance System under one roof at the state and the district levels has been introduced for providing speedy clearances in respect of 50 services of 16 departments on the e-biz portal for setting up of industrial units.

The Chief Minister said that a number of initiatives have been taken for labour reforms and environmental reforms.

These provisions and reforms would not only facilitate the new investors but would also cater to the existing industries in the state. Besides, the government has constituted a three-tier Grievance Redressal System i.e. District Level Grievances Committee, State Level Grievances Committee, Apex Level Grievances Committee, especially for existing industrial units in the state to resolve their issues related to the various departments in respect of functioning of the industrial units.

Twelve countries would participate in the first Happening Haryana Global Investors’ Summit-2016 being organised in Gurgaon on March 7 and 8.

Keeping the effect of recent incidents of the Jat stir in mind, Capt Abhimanyu, the Industry and Commerce minister of Haryana said that despite the recent incidents in the state, Japan has proposed to become a partner country in the summit. 

He said that even the people wanted to ensure safety of the industries, therefore, when the law and order situation in the state was disturbed, the people provided protection to the industries and drove away the protestors.

Before going on with the global summit, the Haryana government has decided to personally take the responsibility to keep the confidence about their safety intact.

Singh also highlighted similar situations where the law and order went out of hand while pointing out to the agitation that had seized Gujarat. However, he promised, that the state and its law and order will maintain that confidence in foreign investors.

Capt Abhimanyu Singh also said that more than 800 entrepreneurs from India and other countries would participate in the summit on the first day. Technical sessions would also be held. 

Representatives of 140 foreign companies and ambassadors and high commissioners of different countries would also participate in this event.
