'Kerala, TN top list in implementing govt schemes'

 Tamil Nadu and Kerala topped the list in providing proper <g data-gr-id="10">healthcare</g> to its people by implementing several schemes, the Parliamentary Standing Committee for Health and Family welfare said on Monday.

"Both Kerala and Tamil Nadu top the list in providing proper <g data-gr-id="12">healthcare</g> to its people through the implementation of various schemes," said MK Raghavan, one among 11 committee members and an MP representing Kozhikode in Kerala The team, led by its chairman Satish Chandra Mishra, inspected facilities at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital and also talked to patients about its functioning.

Raghavan said the committee would submit its report to the Centre, after getting a feedback from officials, doctors, nurses and public on the shortcomings and also requirements.
