Kejriwal moves back to Kaushambi house

The flat in Girnar Apartment is allotted to his wife Sunita, who is a senior Indian Revenue Service Officer. She had surrendered the accommodation early this year when Kejriwal became the chief minister and shifted to Tilak Road.
Interestingly, it is the same ‘lucky’ flat from where Kejriwal chalked out the strategy for the 2013 assembly polls and scripted a spectacular win and went on to become the chief minister of Delhi.
Party sources said that the flat was more convenient for his family, especially his parents, as they had been staying there for a long time and knew the people around. They added that Kejriwal will switch between party’s headquarter at Hanuman Road and Kaushambi residence.
‘Hanuman Road premises will serve as his office cum residence. More importantly, he will stay in New Delhi assembly constituency, which he represents,’ a senior party leader said.
The Hanuman Road office, a two storey structure including a terrace serves as office-cum-residence for several AAP volunteers and leaders including senior party leaders like Gopal Rai and Sanjay Singh.
