Kejriwal govt transfers 9 IAS officers in a day

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)<g data-gr-id="40">-led</g> Delhi government issued a fresh order for the transfer of nine officers working with various departments.
The order stated that out of the nine who have been transferred, seven are from DANICS (Delhi, <g data-gr-id="38">Andaman</g> and Nicobar Islands Civil Services), while two are IAS officers.
The letter dated May 25 has been signed by Rajendra Kumar, Principal Secretary (Services).
“The Competent Authority is pleased to order transfer/posting of following officers with immediate effect. The officers are directed to join duties today itself,” the letter says.
Amar Nath, who was serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), and FO Hashmi are the two IAS officers who have been transferred.
While the DUSIB chief has now been posted as Secretary (Health) with <g data-gr-id="36">additional</g> charge of CEO, DUSIB, Hashmi has been given the charge of Special Secretary (Health).
The seven DANICS officers are from key departments like New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), Delhi Jal <g data-gr-id="32">Board</g> and Delhi Development Authority. They have been shifted to other departments.
Geetika Sharma, a director-level officer at NDMC, has been transferred to East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) as a Deputy Commissioner.
Similarly, BS <g data-gr-id="41">Jaglan</g>, Director (Vigilance) in the Delhi Jal Board, has been shifted as Deputy Commissioner (West), while Ajay Kumar Bisht from DDA has been given the charge of Additional Secretary (Power).
KD Dogra has been made the new Additional Director (Education).
Recently, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that “transfer-posting” has become a big industry in Delhi and the AAP-led Delhi government has stopped it in the past three months.
