Kapil Sibal inaugurates DU’s annual festival

Kapil Sibal, Minister of Communication and IT, while inaugurating the Antardhvani, a cultural festival, applauded the digital world, saying it will sustain the cultural health of the civilisation. The event was held at Delhi University on Friday.
Sibal urged students to make fair use of technology to send good message to the 21st century.
Antardhvani kicked off with the flower show, NCC parade, exhibitions and cultural events. It will end on 24 February. Sibal said, ‘Soon, the Ministry of Communication and IT will connect 2.5 lakh fiber optics for the students of India. This virtual technology will help students attend lectures in other colleges as well.’
Antardhvani, the name of the festival, was given by Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Dinesh Singh.
