Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship inaugurated the second edition IInvenTiv, R &D Innovation Fair of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) at IIT Hyderabad recently. He stated that the goal is to make India, a manufacturing hub which would contribute at least 25% to the country’s GDP as compared to 17% currently. Pradhan highlighted that the government has focused on augmenting the manufacturing sector through important policy changes, such as ‘Make In India’, ‘ Invest in India’, PLI Scheme, and FDI liberalisation. These initiatives will act as a catalyst in India becoming the third largest economy in the future and achieve the target of being a 5 trillion dollar economy, he added.
The West Bengal Madhyamik examinations are scheduled to take place from February 2 to February 12, 2024. From this year onwards, the exam hours have been shifted to 9.45 am to 1 pm. Earlier, the examination was slated for 11.45 am to 3 pm. The Class 10 exams in West Bengal for 2024 will kick off with the first language paper. Subsequently, the second language paper and history exams are scheduled for February 3 and February 5, respectively.
