Three persons, including a 23-year-old youth and a juvenile, were arrested for allegedly murdering a man after he developed a relationship with the sister of the minor boy, police said on Tuesday.
Bharat, his juvenile friend and Ajay Kumar Yadav, driver of a closed door van, were arrested from Najafgarh in west Delhi yesterday.
The half-burnt body of Chanjesh, who worked as a peon in a transport company situated at Shivaji Park in Punjabi Bagh, was found in Nagafgarh area on 9 February.
Police zeroed-in on Bharat who confessed to commit the murder with the help of one Bittu and Ajay.
‘Bharat confessed to the police that the deceased had developed a relationship with the sister of his juvenile friend. One day the boy saw Chanjesh with his sister in a park and hatched a conspiracy to eliminate him,’ a senior police official said. Bharat called his friend Bittu and Ajay and then invited Chanjesh.
