Jordan denies giving military training to Syrians

Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour has rejected reports that military training is being provided to Syrians, the state-run Jordan Television reported. ‘No military training is provided for the Syrians in Jordan. I stress that there is no civil or military entity that provides training for Syrians in the kingdom,’ Xinhua quoted the prime minister as saying. Ensour said Jordan will resort to the UN Security Council to discuss the issue of Syrian refugees, noting that the increasing influx of refugees has put great pressure on Jordan.
