JNU to hold sexual harassment committee poll on 22 March

The process for electing two student representatives for Jawaharlal Nehru University’s (JNU) Gender Sensitisation Committee Against Sexual Harassment (GSCASH) 2012-2013 has started under the supervision of Chandan, chairperson of the JNUSU election committee.

The JNU policy against sexual harassment was announced in a circular dated 25 February 1999 and GSCASH was set up vide a Jawaharlal Nehru University notification dated 16 April 1999.

Polling for the post of student representatives will be held on 22 March.
