JMC directs aspirants to fill one form for three-course preference

After St. Stephens College, Jesus and Mary College (JMC), one of the premier colleges of Delhi University came up with its admission procedure for the four-year-undergraduate-programme on Wednesday. A college official said, ‘Students who wish to apply in JMC are required to fill a single form with three course preferences. Student who fill more than one form will be disqualified at a later stage’.
The college has also decided to accept online admission forms, to be available on its website from 5 June.
JMC has always been amongst colleges with high cut-offs. The college administration has asked students to read all instructions and criteria for admission to various departments given on the college website carefully before filling the online form. ‘Students who wish to apply through the sports quota shall be required to appear for sports trials along with all original documents/certificates as per the schedule to be put up on the college website / notice board.
The minimum eligibility for appearing in trials is I/II or III position at the zonal level, an official added.
Students applying under extra curricular category (ECA) will have to appear for the ECA trials along with all original documents /certificates.
Admissions will be done according to the rules and regulations of the institution.
Delhi University and the decision of the college in this regard will be final.
The lists of the selected candidates will be put up on the college website/notice board as per the Delhi University schedule.
