Jeweller murder: CCB nabs two accused from Agra, claim police

In a major success, the Central Crime Branch arrested two accused including the kingpin involved in the armed loot case of jeweller Praveen Nahata, which had taken place near Anupam Nagar some 45 days back.  The CCB had arrested the accused from their native hideouts at village Tarakpura in district Agra in Uttar Pradesh. 

Altogether four people were involved in the crime, of which, two have been arrested while one accused is in jail and the other is absconding.  

IG (Raipur Range) Pradeep Gupta while informing about the arrests made by the CCB, informed that the sleuths had arrested two brothers Suresh Singh (54) and Sugreev Singh (30), sons of Lakshman Singh and natives of Abhaypura under Sadabad police station under district Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. 

Suresh Singh, who already has 19 cases registered under both cognizable and non-cognizable offences including that of murder, etc against him in various police stations in his native place, was the kingpin in this loot incident. 

Apart from his brother Sugreev, the other accomplices in the crime with Suresh were Deepak Singh (22), son of Gola Singh Jatav resident of Jatoi, Sadabad PS, Hathras and Rameshwar (38) alias Pandit, also a resident of Abhaypura under Sadabad PS in Hathras district. The IGP informed that Deepak Singh was under judicial custody against some offence he had committed in his home town while Rameshwar alias Pandit is absconding.
