Jet scrip dives on news-break

The Jet Airways scrip on Tuesday fell as much as 4.41 per cent to Rs 355 after the Supreme Court sought response from the Centre on a petition filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy seeking a stay on the Rs 2,058-crore Jet-Etihad deal.
After a positive start, shares of the company reversed the trend and tanked on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
At the close of trade, the scrip was down 3.98 per cent to Rs 356.60.
At the National Stock Exchnage (NSE), the scrip settled at Rs 356.90, down 3.85 per cent. In the broader market, the BSE benchmark Sensex ended the day at 34,57,250, up 88.51 points.
