Jat reservation issue: Noisy scenes witnessed in Haryana

Noisy scenes were witnessed in Haryana Assembly on Friday with treasury benches and INLD led opposition benches engaging in sharp exchanges after the Speaker disallowed the Calling Attention Notice on the Jat reservation issue, citing rules that forbid discussion on the matter which is “sub-judice”.

With opposition parties remaining adamant on having a discussion on the issue, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar sought suggestions from members of all political parties to resolve the matter.
