After a successful response we have decided to initiate it in all 250 courses available in varsity’, said acting vice-chancellor, SM Sajid Jamia Milia Islamia University. He also added that the prospectus for admissions will be out in the second or third week of March.

Another senior official in the varsity, on the basis of anonymity said, ‘On the fee depositing system, the varsity has decided to introduce online fee depositing system from the coming session’.

‘For the 6,000 seats available in 250 courses, we received on an average, more than 1,50,000 applications every year. Interestingly, last year, for 350 available seats in our engineering departments, we received 40,000 applicants through online and offline mode’, he added.
