Jamia to hold entrance for MA in Political Science again

Jamia Millia Islamia University decided to hold the entrance examination for Masters in Political Science again after students complained of repetition of questions in the question paper.
The entrance test for admission to MA in Political Science was held on 18 June, 2013.
The varsity’s media coordinator Simi Malhotra said, ‘As is the practice in the university, there were four sets of question papers for the entrance test for MA in Political Science as well.
However, upon completion of the exam it was pointed out by some candidates that approximately 15-20 questions were repeated in the question papers’. ‘On preliminary inquiry by the university, it was established that indeed questions were repeated in some sets of questions papers,’
she added.
Taking serious note of the error, the university has ordered an inquiry into the matter and in the interest of the candidates has decided to cancel the test held on the 18 June.
On completion of the inquiry, the university will take suitable action against the officials responsible for the error.
‘The university has decided to re-conduct the entrance test on 4 July. The test will be held at 10 am in Jamia,’
