Jamia shooting: Victim shifts to undisclosed location

Days after she was discharged from the hospital where she was undergoing treatment for the gun shot injury, Jamia Nagar victim who was shot at near her house moved to an undisclosed location for security reasons. The cops have already arrested four accused in the case.

The woman was shot at on December 23 just outside her house in Jamia Nagar area by two men who were following orders from a graphic designer-turned property dealer.

Faisal planned the attack on the mother of the rape victim with the help of Iqbal and Wasim who finally shot the woman on December 23. All three have been arrested. He thought to implicate his business rival Sajid into the murder case as Sajid was already picked up for the gang-rape of the woman’s daughter.

The cops have arrested three accused in attempt to murder and one in the rape case.

Earlier, sensing the sensitivity of the matter, the cops increased police presence around her house to ensure she was not under threat by anyone. Now, the woman and her daughter has moved from the place to an undisclosed location for security reasons.
