ITBP shopping ‘mela’ begins

From Pashmina shawls to Assam gamchas, a wide variety of art and handicraft products are on display for Delhiites at the ITBP ‘mela’.
Organised by the wives welfare association of the border guarding force, the annual three-day exhibition that began today showcased handicraft products from various units of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police. Carpets, shawls, dry fruits, herbal products, cane furniture, Lucknowi ‘chikan’ embroidery and a host of other local products are being displayed at the mela. The ‘mela’ will continue till 4 November.
