ITBP comes up with recruitment portal

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has come up with a new web portal for aspirants seeking recruitment in the force. The website – recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in – was launched by force chief Krishna Chaudhary at its headquarters here  on Wednesday and it provides information about the maximum number of career opportunities in the force, vacancies, pay scales and results and other relevant subjects. 

The website is the first-ever initiative by any paramilitary force in the country to help young men and women gain entry in central forces working under the command of the Union Home Ministry. The 70,000 personnel strong ITBP is tasked to secure the 3,488-km Sino-Indian frontier apart from  rendering various duties in the internal security.
