ITBP brings select students from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi, Agra

On Friday, Ajay Chadda, director general of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)  met the students from remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh as a part of ITBP’s civic action and border area development programmes in the capital.

ITBP arranged an education excursion of 20 students (six girls and 14 boys) from 13 to 19 April. With the help of ITBP, most of these students are visiting major city like Delhi and Agra for first time in their lives. Most of them have travelled in railways for the first time, too. These students represent different tribes of Arunachal Pradesh.

‘I am sure that these students will gain valuable experience by seeing the historical monuments in Delhi and Agra. Such an interaction will definitely have a permanent and inspiring effect on these students and will motivate them to discover a greater India in their life’, said Chadda.

According to Chadda,  ITBP will continue to organise such tours in future also.
