Inspection teams for nursery admissions

‘We have constituted an inspection team to address their grievances in connection with nursery level admissions in private unaided schools. The inspection team will do random checking of schools, if required, for verification of certificates submitted by parents and approved by the schools in connection with admissions to ensure their genuineness’, said Padmini Singla, Directorate of Education.

Deputy director of education (DDE) will head this team and will be accompanied by an education officer and a superintendent. As per the order passed by DoE, schools shall have to extend full co-operation to the inspection team and produce certificates related to admissions for the inspection by the team. Suitable action will be taken by the DDE based on the findings of the inspection team.

As per DoE, if parents or private school managements are found violating any admission criteria or manipulation of documents then strict action will be taken against the school managements, under the provisions of the Delhi School Education Act and Rules, 1973.

This will also lead to cancellation of their candidature and penal action against will be taken against the guilty, under relevant provisions of the law.
