Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in Sheena Bora murder case, on Tuesday gave her consent before a city court for conducting voice sample test on her as sought by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), after it obtained some call records that purportedly feature her voice.
The CBI had last week moved an application before the court, seeking her voice samples for verification as it has got hold of some call records after taking over the investigation in the sensational murder mystery. “I give my consent for the test,” she told the court.
Magistrate RV Adone had allowed the CBI’s application and directed that the jail manual be followed while conducting the test.
Soon after she was produced before the court, the magistrate referred to the CBI plea, to which Indrani said: “I will give my consent, but I want to know that this (voice sample test) is to match with what?” Indrani was told that her voice samples are needed to match with some voices.
