Indigenisation of technologies behind company’s success: CMD

Power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel) Chairman and Managing Director Atul Sobti on Friday attributed the PSU’s success to indigenisation of technologies. “Indigenisation of leading technologies and new technology development have been two major factors for the success of Bhel. These have enabled Bhel to exhibit sustained growth and to face the onslaught of global competition all along its fifty years of journey,” Sobti said at the convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur.
