IndianOil says enough LPG for consumers

After the central government decided to put a cap on the number of subsidised LPG cylinders each consumers can obtain, many consumers complained of inadequate supply of cylinders. But, Indian Oil Ltd clarified on Friday that there was no such shortage. It said that all consumers are eligible to get three subsidised cylinders till 31 March next year. Also, there is no restrictions on the number of non-subsidised cylinders they can buy in this period.

It further added that LPG cylinders for domestic consumption are freely available for booking in the states of Delhi and Haryana. Effective from 1 April next year, LPG customers can avail six domestic subsidised LPG refills per financial year. There will also be no restrictions on the number of domestic non-subsidised cylinders that customers can avail.
