Indian UN Rep Puri bags key US prize

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has presented the Thomas Jefferson Eternal Vigilance award to former Permanent Representative of India to United Nations, Hardeep Singh Puri, an a token of appreciation for his exemplary service to humanity.

At a function held in New York over the weekend, US Congresswoman Carolyn B Maloney also presented the same award to Pakistan's former envoy to the UN Abdullah Hussain Haroon.
