Indian student in New Zealand goes missing, says report

A 20-year-old Indian student in New Zealand has gone missing after a night out clubbing, according to a media report.

Mandeep Singh, who arrived in Auckland on a student visa went missing after a night out clubbing in the early hours on Sunday.

Mandeep and his three flatmates left their Queen St apartment in Auckland at 12.30am. His friends lost contact with him at about 3.20am. He did not turn up to his work at a Cafe or to his culinary arts course at the Cornell Institute of Business and Technology today, The New Zealand Herald reported.

The last person to see him, Gurjeed Singh, said he and Mandeep, stayed at Bungalow8 after their other two flatmates left at about <g data-gr-id="22">2am</g> to go to another nightclub.

“He told me to go to the other side and enjoy myself, to go to the dance floor,” Gurjeed said.

“I was dancing and enjoying myself. After 20 or 25 <g data-gr-id="19">minutes</g> I looked for him and he was not there,” he said.
