India, Pak soldiers exchange sweets across border

Indian and Pakistani Army exchanged sweets on several points along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of J&K.
“On the occasion of Eid, Army representatives of India and Pakistan exchanged sweets at the Poonch-Rawalakot Crossing Point and the Mendhar Hot Spring Crossing Point in Krishna Ghati Sector of J&K,” a defence spokesman said.
He said the exchange of sweets is a testimony of goodwill from both the countries and is expected to go a long way in promoting harmony. “This will certainly strengthen the efforts towards maintaining peace and tranquility along the Line of Control,” the spokesman added.
The border guarding forces of the two countries also exchanged sweets on the international border in Rajasthan.
