A local court will hear on 15 March the case against Indian Mujahideen (IM) co-founder Yasin Bhatkal and his aide, against whom Delhi police has filed a supplementary charge sheet for allegedly setting up an illegal arms factory here.
Additional Sessions Judge Daya Prakash fixed the case for 15 March when the copy of the charge sheet and other documents filed along with the final report are likely to be provided to advocate M S Khan, who is appearing for Bhatkal and Asadullah Akhtar. Both the accused have been named in the charge sheet for offences under various sections of the IPC and under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The police had earlier filed its charge sheet against 16 accused, including alleged IM operative Quateel Siddiqui who had died inside Pune’s Yerawada central jail in June 8, 2012.
