IFS officer kills himself over Dubai posting!

Depressed over his transfer from Delhi to Dubai, a 42-year-old Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer committed suicide on Sunday, hanging himself from a fan in his flat at Dwarka in South West district. The police said the incident occurred on Sunday morning at around 9:30 am when the deceased, Prabhas Dass, who worked with a Foreign Ministry office in R K Puram, was found hanging from a fan in his room. Dass was alone in his flat when he took this extreme step. No suicide note was recovered from the spot.
