ICC clear Lorgat of all charges

ICC on Thursday cleared Haroon Lorgat, chief executive of Cricket South Africa (CSA), of charges that he had knowledge of the controversial statement made against ICC and the FTP by David Becker, ICC’s former legal head, and the subsequent attempts to have it withdrawn.
An independent adjudicator appointed by ICC exonerated Lorgat, also a former ICC chief executive, of all the charges including that of bribing and threatening journalists. A joint statement released by ICC and CSA said the adjudicator has found no evidence to support the allegations made against Lorgat and has has ruled that any restriction on Lorgat’s ability to perform his role as CEO of CSA should be immediately removed.’
