IAC activist robbed

A former NRI turned activist of India Against Corruption (IAC) was robbed of valuables by bikers in Ghaziabad on Thursday morning. ‘I was going to the office of IAC in Kaushambi on Thursday morning. When I reached Dabar around 10 am, two men on a scooter approached my bike signalled to stop by saying Namaste in respectful way. When I stopped one of them approached me and said Bhaiya kisi ko marna ho to batana (please tell us if you want to eliminate someone) when I denied they started abusing me,’ said Dilip Pandey, a volunteer of IAC. Pandey, a software engineer by profession quit his job in Singapore to join the IAC. ‘They robbed my two rings before I could understand anything in the peak hour.’ A police complaint has been registered in Indirapuram police station. ‘A case has been registered and we are investigating into the matter,’ said Gorakh Nath Yadav, Inspector.
