Manish Sisodia, a member of Aam Aadmi Party, who was earlier said to have given surety for all the eight accused in connection with constable Subhash Tomar’s death, said it was false report.
Sisodia told Millennium Post that the police officials were lying and fabricating the incident to distract the public from the real issue.
He said, ‘I was present at Tilak Marg police station where the FIR was lodged, but did not gave surety for anyone’s bail. Infact, one of the members of AAP, Chaman Kumar, was also arrested in the same case. But I did not give surety for his bail.’
‘Also, Delhi police have no evidence against the arrested persons. Neither of the names were mentioned in the First Information Report (FIR),’ he added.
