I-day: Himachal CM thanks people for taking part in development process

On the eve of Independence Day, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh thanked peple for actively participating in the process of development. “Development is a continuous process, it enables the system to achieve growth, leading to peace and progress in the society. Today, as we celebrate 70th Independence Day, I am grateful to the people of the Himachal Pradesh for very actively participating in the process of development,” Singh said in a statement.  

“Many states in India wonder as to how a tiny state of Himachal Pradesh has achieved glorious heights and today is in the fore-front of development indices in the Country. It is only through the hard work, sincerity and commitment of simple natured people of Himachal Pradesh that the State has achieved development in education, infrastructure building, health and civic amenities,” the CM said in the statement.
