Hyderabad blast: 2 alleged im operatives remanded

A city court on Thursday remanded for five days two alleged operatives of banned terror outfit Indian Mujahideen (IM) to National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody for their interrogation in connection with the 21 February twin blasts in Hyderabad. Syed Maqbool and Imran Khan were handed over to NIA for their custodial interrogation after the NIA alleged they had in July last year recced Hyderabad’s Dilsukhnagar area where the blasts occurred. The two are currently lodged in Tihar are under judicial custody after being arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police in connection with the August 2012 Pune blasts. Police are also looking for five more IM operatives who may have a role in the Hyderabad and Pune blasts.
