Humid Saturday, rains likely today

Moderately humid conditions marked the opening of the day in Delhi on Saturday with scattered rain likely later on in the national capital. The minimum temperature recorded by the met office at 8.30am was 29 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal.
The mercury, however, was expected to soar with the maximum tipped to touch 38 degrees.
‘Rainfall of 0.4-mm was recorded in the city till 8.30 in the morning while humidity was 64 per cent,’ said a met official. Partially cloudy skies are expected throughout the day with light rain or thundershowers likely in some parts of the city. The maximum on Friday had settled at 36.8 degrees while the minimum was recorded at 26 degrees.
