Huawei unveils Honor 7 smartphones, smart band

Chinese telecom firm Huawei today unveiled Honor 7 smartphone with <g data-gr-id="18">customisable</g> software intelligence features and embedded panic button.

It also unveiled dust proof and <g data-gr-id="20">water resistant</g> digital <g data-gr-id="21">wrist band</g>, Honor Band Z1 with call reminder, SMS notification, calorie consumption tracker, calendar function and <g data-gr-id="26">three day</g> battery life. "We are enthusiastic to introduce the Honor 7 in India today...We sold 20 million Honor phones in 2014, 40 million in 2015 and expect to sell 60 million in 2016," Honor International Business Vice-President Zhao Gang said.

Built on Google Android's Marshmallow, Honor 7 has 20 megapixel rear camera, 8 mp front camera with auto focus speed of 0.1 second, a back <g data-gr-id="22">finger print</g> sensor that unlock phone in 0.5 second and 3,100 mAh battery life. It has internal memory of 16 Gb and support external memory card slot. "Our focus is India. We listen to our customers and the Honor 7 has been built to meet their expectation from a smartphone in <g data-gr-id="23">day</g> to day life," Huawei India, Vice President Sales for Consumer Business Group P Sanjeev said.

Honor 7 has integrated knock sensor in the phone which enables <g data-gr-id="29">user</g> to capture <g data-gr-id="30">screen</g> shot with <g data-gr-id="31">double</g> tap by knuckles and crop any part in any shape by moving knuckle around it. The latest Honor smartphone is <g data-gr-id="28">first</g> device that will have embedded panic button which will send out alerts on phone number pre-loaded in the application at the time of emergency along with location details.
