26/11's alleged plotter Abu Jundal had a full-proof plan in place, it seems. The investigation report, a copy of which is with Millennium Post, reveals how Jundal escaped from India with ease and in the next two years, made the 26/11 attack in Mumbai a success.
After the Aurangabad arms haul incident in 2006, Jundal managed to escape to Pakistan via Bangladesh. Traveling more than 1,600 kms, he reached Kolkata where he was received by one Shoukat, who along with him crossed Baniya Pul Border and reached Dhaka, about 500 kms from Kolkata.
Shoukat arranged a boarding pass for him in the name of Saeed for a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight and they both travelled from Dhaka taking a PIA fight and reached Karachi.
At Karachi Airport, Jundal and Shoukat were received reportedly by an ISI agent. After coming out of the airport, Jundal was provided accommodation at Hyderabad colony in Karachi. Further, Jundal was given a code name 'Dawood'.
After a few days in Karachi, Jundal was sent to Rawalpindi by air. During his travel, he used the same name code, Dawood. At Rawalpndi airport, he was received by that name and later provided accommodation in Sama Garden area in Rawalpindi.
In Rawalpindi, Jundal met Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) operative, Junaid alias Dr. Rehan (operational commander of various Kashmir operations) and Mujammil (operative commander of all-India operations).
In September, 2006, Jundal was taken for training to Manshera in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), Muzaffarabad.
In February/March 2007, Jundal underwent training at Muridke, PoK, headquarters of LeT, where he met Hafiz Mohd. Sayed, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakvi and others. After completion of training, he was provided accomodation in Baitul Mujahidin in Muzaffarabad. He stayed there for the entire year of 2007.
For the 26/11 attacks, Jundal provided locations of Mumbai, route of Taj Hotel, the dialect of the localities, the location of Church Gate, the route to Gateway of India and how to behave like a pucca Mumbaikar. He also imparted Hindi training and how to interact with the media, to the executioners of the terrorist strike.
